USER RESEARCH
At Gatheround (acquired by Donut), I led end-to-end design of interactive, real-time experiences like Group Share, Breakouts, and AI-powered Recaps that scaled authentic collaboration and connection among remote teams and communities.
I partnered with Product, Sales, and Growth to drive onboarding and demo initiatives showing product value in action, which increased self-serve revenue. I directly influenced processes, roadmaps, and OKRs as part of the leadership team, helping position Gatheround for acquisition.

Pinterest Activation Vision
2017 · PRODUCT DESIGN, STRATEGY & STORYTELLING
Qualitative research revealed that poor comprehension of Pinterest’s value and difficulty accessing relevant content are some of the factors that get in the way of activation.
I led design on Engagement Growth, bringing together research, experimentation, and product strategy to reimagine how millions of new users understood the platform’s value. I organized a cross-functional workshop that leveraged these insights to define clear messaging and translate it into a holistic onboarding flow prototype. Through partnering closely with PMs and engineers, we aligned teams around a roadmap and learning strategy that embraced both incremental wins and step-function growth.

In order to reduce friction, I led the strategy and design of suggesting boards to create to easily save new ideas. I collaborated with product managers, writers, researchers, and engineers to scale this solution across platforms.

Storehouse (acquired by Square) enables the seamless composition of photos, videos, and text to tell stories. As the founding designer, I collaborated with co-founders and engineers to design the initial product on iPad, which received a 2014 Apple Design Award. Later, the iPhone experience was featured in the App Store’s 2014 Best of Apps. I also crafted a consistent product and brand experience across web, marketing, and print materials.
